Dear Friend of our Foundation:

This past month has gotten away from us as we prepared for the end of school and the start of summer - so please forgive us for sending this May newsletter so very late! While we could have just grouped our May/June updates, we really want to keep in touch with each of you each month as we are so blessed to have you as friends and very strong supporters of our efforts. Here goes...

Once again we continue to feel like we're on the right path as we work towards our mission of promoting charitable activity to improve the quality of life. When we say these words we really mean that in so many ways.

Each time we come together to help keep Emma's spirit alive we truly know that so many people are involved and take benefit from our actions. From those that we help via our volunteer efforts to those that come together to venture into the act of volunteering - we all walk away realizing that the journey is the reward. What we are doing matters to those that benefit and to each of us.

As we look ahead into the summer months, we hope to keep engaging you and others on our journey and try to find our place in the world.

Like many of us, you probably take clean water for granted. You just turn on the faucet and out it comes. #TrulyBlessed

We were so inspired by a charity called Waves For Water on so many different levels - but the most interesting part of their approach is their courier system. As a follow-up to our new Just Be program (see below) - your love has been sent to this organization to help 'deliver' clean water to the world.

In an effort to expand Emma's foundation in a new and meaningful way, we have decided to offer some special "Soul" enriching programs.

We held our first in the "Just Be" series on May 16th.

For May, we had a small delivery as part of our relationship with Light of Life - helping a graduate of their Men's program with his transition from the mission to his own apartment. As we are finding, it takes just a little help to have someone become more independent and helping them to realize their dreams and full potential. Thank you for your continued support.

Tell Me More - I Want To Help!

In May we hosted back-to-back volunteer events to benefit the Special Olympics - the first to clear the way for bocce practice and the second to help the athletes prepare for their tournament play.

Once you work with Special Olympics, you'll never be the same.

As we continue into the second half of 2017, we are working to plan more events/programs and can sure use your help. Checkout our new What's Next page and let us know if you can join us for the ride.
